Les should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
How's this for stupidity

I heard that a certain driver was hauled up in front of the stewards on Sunday for being 'too exuberant when winning'.

Oh give over - his first ever win and they had to try and spoil it.

What is Tocas problem with Phil Bennett? If you had just won your first BTCC race you would be a bit happy to say the least.

What exactly did Bennett do.

If you want an exuberent victory celebration, witness Anthony Gobert after winning both World Superbike races at Phillip Island in 1996, getting out of his leathers and throwing them into the crowd whilst on the podium, and nothing was said to him.

Oh get your priorities straight TOCA! You let JP off the hook w/a 30 second penalty and have a go ate Phil for celebrating!? Get real!

What's the full story here? What did Phil do to get pulled up in front of the stewards?

Is that it? He didn't do anything else to warrant a warning?

It seems on his slowing down lap he stayed off the track and drove down the slip road (between Bridge and Luffield) to show the car to all the Egg team and sponsors that were down there.

What a load of *******.

Hope to see Phil today at Brands so I'll ask what happened.

Well it's right - he was told off for the wheel spin off track celebrations and then he was fined for crossing the pitlane without permission - you what????

As for today - he was smiling again. He is enjoying the GTs - a lot faster than the Astra. He qualified 6th, the team 7th.
