I can't say I noticed any Honda McLaren hatred in that article.

I have noticed similarities between articles in both Autosport and Racer. Maybe they share the same initial source?

I think his list is full season entries, although I'd agree if Carlin is running Chilton will be in a car.

I think there's a good chance we'll see 35 at least for Indy with Urrutia, Kimball, Daly, Ferrucci leading the pack. I think you could see Chavez in to hold Wickens place, but it could be a wide open race to hold it

Urrutia doesn't have enough money to enter any IndyCar race. He needs a funded team, and these are scarce. Plus, his rather poor results this season don't make him as attractive as proven drivers like Jones, Muñoz or Hildebrand. I'm rather worried about his career.

Couple of thoughts/questions:


1) Doesn't Jordan King have money? I'd imagine he'd be back with ECR but I guess evidence is lacking.


2) Munoz got the call for the last two races in the #6 Coyne car - wouldn't he be the odds-on favourite for next year until (if?) Wickens is back? I confess I have no idea as to his sponsorship situation.


3) Kimball surely still has Novo Nordisk money... again, wouldn't he likely be back with Carlin, particularly since they've said something about adding a third car?


I guess we'll see.

Harding still to decide on engines for 2019. However, due to Andretti Autosport's involvement with Harding this season, concerns have been raised about performance data being shared, as Harding used Chevy and Andretti Autosport use Honda.

I didn't think the engineering support would go without comment from the teams. It could be done by would require lots of NDAs and likely Indy management involvement to satisfy the other teams

Formulahistory should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Vandoorne seems to be a bit to afraid in IndyCar after what happened with Wickens. So I don't see him and Ocon in IndyCar.

Wehrlein will drive for Toro Rosso next season. If not, he is going to race Mahindra Formula E and 4 races with Schmidt in IndyCar.
