Here's another video with pure engine sounds, this time it's footage of practice for the 1990 IMSA Grand Prix of Del Mar and a minute or two of the GTO/GTU/AAC race...lots and lots of turbo flutter

Now this is simply one of the best on-board laps of Le Mans I've ever come across. It's a lap aboard the #91 Porsche just before it's fully dark, and it's 4 minutes of stunning flat-out racing.

A lot of the on-boards you get are of clear, near-perfect laps but this makes you realise how hairy it is trying to race flat-out against your rivals, lapping machinery only slightly slower than yours whilst getting lapped by bullets half the height of your car.

Outstanding! Amazing how much quicker the Porsche was over the Aston in a straight line.

Very good. Those gear changes are ridiculous. And all that work to catch the Aston ruined by being lapped at the wrong place, only for the Aston to duck into the pits. A rollercoaster every lap.
