Errr, they've publicised that well. I'm in the industry and haven't seen about it! Any idea which championship?

Google doesn't know anything about it. It mentions the Minibike series that's all - and sponsorship of my colleagues at Mann Motorsport, which I think has ceased now.

So.. Monaco has come and gone and... nothing. Honestly I am surprised. I was expecting another tease. But checking twitter for both Rich Energy and for Storey himself. Nothing.

Just a lot of blustering and BS from Storey, I knew nothing would happen.

If the book is in as many retail outlets as the drink-it won't be figuring in the best seller lists.

As long as it sells enough copies to pay for a haircut and a shave for Mr Storey it would at least be a good start.

What would be desperately funny is if the book simply isn't made available. Here's the hype, you can have a copy if you can decipher the insanely twisted retail methodology

Maybe Ms Blackstock is yet another self publicist peddaling something that doesn't actually exist?

I signed up for notifications on the book. I really hope it works out. I will absolutely buy a copy.
I wonder if the authors may end up with no shortage of people willing to spill their guts, but with a large chunk of them only willing to do so off record. Dishing on an prior sponsor (even if one as out there as Storey/Rich Energy) is probably frowned upon. I think in a sense, it might be too early to tell this story. But if they don't write it, someone eventually will. No doubt there will be a good bit of reporting on public record content as well to stitch together an accurate narrative. If the book is as damning as expected, I can imagine the response from Storey will be they are ALL unsubstantiated rumors (even the content that would be verifiable) being pushed by his jealous enemies/cabal that is out to discredit him. I think there is room for a "fake it until you make it" mindset in this world But in the end, you have to be able to catch up and be able to back it all up with something real. I tend to think Storey and Rich Energy will just limp along for awhile and then eventually drop below the radar. Then years from now, people will be saying... Remember Rich Energy? What ever happened to them? Richard |

Elizabeth Homes tried to fake it 'til she made it and looks to be heading for a lengthy spell in prison (if you've not seen The Founder, its excellent)

I doubt the book would be much to read about. A case of ‘said a lot, did very little’
