I do know if you want to see them in acton again come the the mount in easter as the FOSC have secured them as the premier class for the great easter meet. There is supposed to be approx 30+ cars racing

Interesting how second hand prices have fallen to reality as it seemed 2 years ago, people were looking for $300-$400K for a second hand car.

They're still asking high prices for 'last year's cars'. However, this is an '03 build (albeit a series winning one).

Actually, the car usually runs a Hasted engine, which is E85 compliant. A quick check of the ad says the 2003-spec DJR powerplant is going back in.

This engine hasnt been used since 2008, when E85 was but a dream. Is it compliant with E85?

My dots say no..

Owned by the Race Image consortium, which includes Mr La Delle Sr, Mr McMahon amongst others. They purchased the DJR BA14 and BA15, plus an AU, all taken over at the end of the 2005 season.

The cars ran under the preparation of DJR in 2006, the 2 BA's for Mr Denyer & Mr Canto, in Summit Fleet Lease, and Gatorz eyewear colours. Mr La Delle also ran in the First Rock Home Loans branded car. Championship winner for Mr Canto.

2007 saw Prodigy Motorsport prepare the cars for Race Image for Mr Fernandez and a variety of second pilots, in Fujitsu and Fujitsu-style liveries. Mr Assaillit joined the squad, along with Mr Partington's preparation crew, with DQH joining the rotation of sponsors

2008 was a continuation of 2007, with Prodigy preparing the cars for Race Image for part of the year for Mr Assaillit in Fujitsu/DQH colours, until the commerciality of the arrangement changed, and Race Image took the squad's preparation in house

2009 continues 2008, except that there was only one car, with limited sponsorship from ESET for Mr Russell, Mr Rollinson & Mr Marshall. Stories suggest the other DJR BA is living with Hasted in exchange for an engine package (which isnt included in the sale ad interestingly)

Yes......... but not quite in the correct order!

Mr Canto drove the car in 2005 for DJR.

In 2006 Race Image had Mr Denyer in DJR BA15 (#81) - Mr Thompson in DJR BA14 (#71) -&- Mr La Delle Jr in the older (ex Johnson/Johnson) AU (#61).

I think some of that includes "Sellers" wanting to trade with Paypal accounts and only having e-mail as a contact, and incredibly stupid ads (front wheel drive V6 XR6Falcons???)

The website is fundamentally a good idea, better than a classified magazine out each week which is stale by the time it arrives.

Even the NSW Trading Post only offers an online option these days, no paper.
