A great meeting. Well done to all the marshals and race officials that made this such a good meeting to watch. A very smooth operation, and out by 5.20, too!

A big 'Thank You' to everybody, not only for Saturday but for all the great marshalling at HSCC meetings throughout the year. Once again we ran much of the day ahead of time and were blessed with good weather and I think everbody enjoyed the last meeting of the season.
I hope everybody winters well and look forward to seeing you all again next year
Thanks again

Fay should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
As John says, I would like to add my own personal thanks to all the marshals and officials at all the HSCC meetings this year. I know nearly all our meetings are well manned and it makes my life and the other Chief Marshals (at the circuits I cannot attend) so much easier.

I look forward to seeing you all again next year and if anybody has any points they would like to raise please do not hesitate to PM me.

Best regards

0.067 sec gap after 15 laps between Steve Maxsted's Argo JM6 and Neil Dunkel's Argo JM3 - I see what you mean Andrew! Wish I had there myself to see this one!

Yes it was a great race Terry. A particular moment when the pair of them came across a gaggle of backmarkers at Luffield, side by side then negotiating their way through was tremendous.

Andrew, Steve Maxsteds Argo JM6 has special memories for me, as I used to help Colin Thorpe prepare it and run it when it was brand new in 1980 for Phil Silverstone in the Vandervell British F3 Championship and in some French F3 rounds and at Monaco that year.

Tierry Tassin tested it a few times to check the set up for Colin & Phil and said that it was possibly quicker than his works JM6. Colin always had high regard for the "Belgium Paddy" as he used to call him and therefore it's great to see Steve running the car in Tassin's colour scheme and getting the podiums and championship again.

Mark Stevens should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I was spectating on Saturday and would like to add my thanks to the organisers and marshals for a great day and for once a silverstone event that ran on or ahead of time.

I would also like to send my best wishes to the marshal positioned at the start of the pitlane who was stretchered away in a St John's Ambulance after being attended by two doctors cars. Can anyone tell me if the marshal is ok?
