GP2 Two Worlds Prediction Competition - Round 13, Spa-Francorchamps
Welcome to the Round 13 of the 2005 GP2 Two Worlds Prediction Competition!
The last European meeting of GP2 Series will be at the gorgeous Belgian circuit of Spa, one of the most elected by race drivers as the most enjoyable. La Source, Eau Rouge, Les Combes, Stavelot, Blanchimont, Bus Stop are names plenty of history and passion among all motorsport fans. In all GP2 race weekends, we'll post our predictions for these items: race 1 polesitter, top 8 finishers of Race 1, top 6 finishers of Race 2 and fastest lap scorers of races 1 and 2. Remember that Race 2 uses the results of Race 1 to order the grid, with top 8 reversed. The deadline will be at 4:00 AM GMT Hour of September 9th. A detailed overview of the rules can be found HERE. About GP2 drivers
In order to help concursants in their predictions, I posted this link to the ENTRYLIST OF GP2 TEAMS AND DRIVERS.
In case of driver replacements, we remind that the Rulebook considers that if a concursant predicts a driver who left his seat, in the predictions usually we will consider the car he had raced, no matter who drives that car; the exception iswhen the driver who left his car goes to another team to drive with their car. |

it must ocme soon enough. despite the bad luck he has had all year, another carroll win would still be an injustice to his talent. i think spa is the one.

ATTENTION: Driver change
There is a driver change at one of GP2 teams: Italian Ferdinando Monfardini has officially left Durango car #25 (see this press release) and is the rumour that GianmarÃ*a Bruni will sub him for the rest of 2005 GP2 Series Championship. For the moment, only one source, Italiaracing.net, confirmed this new.
We remember what contemplates the GP2 TWPC Rulebook about this: "...When a concursant predicts a driver who left his seat, in the predictions usually we will consider the car he had raced, no matter who drives that car. There is one exception: when the driver who left his car goes to another team to drive with their car." Many users had predicted Bruni and/or Monfardini at this round of the GP2 Two Worlds Prediction Competiton, then I inform the politics about this case: - If Bruni races effectively at Durango tomorrow, all picks that have him on the predictions will remain as they are, but Monfardini predictions will be counted as Bruni's. - If Bruni does NOT race at Spa tomorrow, then his picks will turn to Vilander (the driver who replaced him at Coloni), so Monfardini ones will be counted for the driver who'll stand at his place. Users of GP2 Two Worlds Prediction Competition, with these considerations noted, are free to revise their predictions before deadline. |
