F3 Mondello

Starting this one earlier than normal...Tim Bridgman may / may not take part this weekend according to crash.net due to a fire in his yard and him being burnt and airlifted to hospital. He's going anyway but may or may not compete.

Other than that...who does anyone tip? There seems to have been quite a lot of scrubbing off of Mondello for the past few weeks before anyone's even arrived...

Shame about Bridgman, he was just starting to score points. I reckon it will be all the front runners as usual, like to see Senna convert his good form into a win. I've seen enough of Parente winning this year so i'd like to see someone new on the top step, Bakkerud, Kane or Asmer - when is he going to get a win!! Duran is on form in the National class, but I reckon Kennard is getting better all the time and might get a first victory. Is Ben Clucas out with Fluid?

Someone that's not doing too well at Mondello is Charlie Kimball, just went into the tyrewall about 20 minutes ago and took the front right corner off. First high-speed off of the weekend.

Bridgman was out but way down the order. First session was a 1.37, second was into 6 mins (guessing problem) and third still to come later.

Double R guys were quite a way back, seems to be Conway and Walker...but hey, it's practise day only.

Yeah, he was giving it a try but the pain was too much.

I think Conway will do well....he's been top so far in all three test / practise sessions. Dan Clarke's picked up the pace now fwiw moggie

it does open two pages if you go through mst, test days etc and one of those is an error page cannot be found, but otherwise it's the same link as earlier and it's ok...

Kane on pole again for race 2 with Dirani completing a Lola lockout of the front row.

I' m not having a problem with MST. Try here for Race 1 qualifying results and here for Race 2. Interesting that Lola should stage such a revival on a circuit also owned by Martin Birrane.

I have to say well don to kaneo. After all the sh-- hes been through this year and last couple of year with no money. Its nice to see a quick driver how has to work at it hard winning. Well Done.
