Crooks Motorsport have taken out the penultimate round of the championship over Snap Crackle Pop Racing and Dazz Motorsport. Second-last round and three virgin podium-dwellers - better late than never guys!
Congrats to Tasmanian devils Jamie Whincup, Mark Skaife, Lee Holdsworth and Shane Price!

Hard Charger Award
Goldfinch Motorsport finally found the rocket boosters, picking up an impressive 11 places. Snap Crackle Pop Racing and Crooks Motorsport also slipped that something extra past scrutineering, up 8 and 5 respectively.


Biggest Loser Award
Team Mousemat and Total Team Red & One Other both found themselves in an impromptu meeting with the wall, courtesy of their fellow competitors, suffering a 6 place drop in the process. Red Bull Autotechnica also kicked up plenty of dirt on the way to a 5 place fall.

Three. That’s the magic number for Club 27 Racing going into the final showdown for the 2007 V8 Supercar Fantasy Championship at Phillip Island.
The defending V8SCFC champion has to defeat closest rival Scuderia Cavallo Ferro by that margin at the V8 Supercar Grand Finale after a drama-packed penultimate round won by Crooks Motorsport at Tasmania’s Symmons Plains yesterday.
Brendon Engineering, Below Average Racing, and Hayden Craig Motorsport still have a mathmatical chance of defending his 2006 title, but at 27-28 points behind, they will need everything to go right....

Great round for Goldfinch Motorsport, after a dismal season, we grab a solid result in the penultimate round of the championship (better late then never), and a massive 11 place gain in the championship, you beauty!!

B.O.R.I.N.G's year has been nothing but dismal. It would be nice to salvage a decent result at the finale, setting us up for an assault on the '08 title.
