Ford have confirmed the rumours circulating various internet bulletin boards that Alain Menu is gay and will drive the WRC based Ford Focus in BTCC 2001. Alterations will take place after the WRC events and the cars will be shipped direct to the circuit after Prodrive secured a deal with DHL.

Is this true ? We'll have to see what we can do about that - we can't have Mr McRae back in the BTCC - the bloke was worse than Mansell and Warwick together
