Monaco Historic GP 2012 - spectating

Found a couple of threads from prospective participants, but looking for info regarding watching rather than competing (latter is limited due to lack, of car, talent, budget, etc).

Are Grandstands open on roving basis, where do you park, best place to watch from, usual sort of questions. Have been to Monaco a number of times and walked the track, but never to either GP.

Went in 2006-most stuff was up but it was only one week before F1 now two weeks.Casino stand I think was the best.Tickets minimal-could even get into paddock-met up and had a meal with group from another forum-had a great time!
You might even find a hotel in Monaco

Two years ago was a great meeting with great cars and drivers.
Just find out that this year the paddock is open after practice/race sessions and during lunch break at noon.
Best park for your car is inside the stadium in Fontville just 300 meters from track.
Best grandstands is K around the port pool, price for race day Euro 45.
Good hotels deals around Monaco: Eze (Eze Vista), Cap Ferrat (Hotel Panoramic).
Restaurant best value Cafe de Paris and Stars & Bars.
