Think the Daihatsu UK-backed GTti did the full British Championship season with Kaby as well as the RAC?

Did any ever appear in production saloons? I've got a vague memory that Will Hoy raced one at some point, but think that was the earlier-shape... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Da...recht_Nass.JPG

rallycrosscraig has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!

Yes I think so, it was in the second class with Capris and Monzas when it was really only on Ritmo, Golf level.

My friend in NZ was champ in GTii charades old and new shape cars he loved them
had all the tuning bits on the car ( he was also MD of Daihtasu NZ) so he had access to some tweeks
His son has now bought his old race car to rebuild and race 17 years after it was a winning car

The only real motorsport useage of Charades I know of, taking into account I'm in Australia, was rally. Even today there are still a few running around in rallies, which is pretty impressive considering the roadcars habit of splitting chassis. I know of a couple of forums that could help, not sure if I'm allowed to mention them here though.

I've got a vague suspicion that a second car might have appeared at some point, on either a British Championship event or the following season?

3degrees should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Charade G100's are still in use at Australian Oval dirt track Speedways. They are driven by Junior racers from 10 - 17 years old. The motors are restricted to standard specs generallly with cams allowed to be changed.
It is the 6 valve 3 cyl motor only permitted but can still generate 45+ hp at the front wheels.
If anyone has info on UK or Euro users/developers of these motors I would appreciate the details.
