Yes, congratulations William and commiserations Gil. Well done Richard for your win. You must have drove the wheels off of that Brabham. Hope I didn't get in the way of anyone last night as I stumbled my way around in the BRM. I changed a couple of settings at the end of practice which made the car worse, hence I couldn't even get a 1:28 in the race. I found the rear tyres were overheating within about 6 laps and grip was just terrible after that. Shift R'd about 5 times as well. Not a good race for me.
Hope we get some other people back as numbers seem to be dwindling. |

I know things have been a bit quiet on here, but I have been extremely busy! I'm away for 3 weeks as of this evening, but where I'm going has internet access. So once I'm settled in and I'm finally having the chance of a break then I will get everything brought up to date.
I'm still in the process of arranging alternative hosting arrangements for Albi on Tuesday, but there is a chance we may have to postpone. |

I have a server that might be availible, its the one i use for GBGPL . Would have to get permission to use it for a race other than GBGPL .
Pete. I could also bolster the grid but they would not be ten / tenths members this might be a price i have to pay to be able to host. |

As always, I'd offer to host in place of Spud but I can't guarantee being around tomorrow - I'd hate to make the offer and then let you all down.

That's a shame Gil.
Judging by previous grids, maybe half a dozen from 10/10ths. I haven't done a single lap of albi yet. Thought I would leave it all to pre-race practice! Should be fun. Scott |

Should be racing at Albi.
Perhaps my last ever TTFRL race before I make the switch to NR2003 league racing. Sorry peeps. But I intend to go out on a high! |

Pointless really if its only 3 or even 4. Has a decision been made about opening this up for some 'guests'. You never know, we might get some more people interested for next seasons 10/10ths.

If not they can race on another server i will set up and i will join them . Of course if there are 6 of us then it will be just us. Pete |

Well, I hung around in 10/10ths until 8pm. No-one else was there so joined the GBGPL peeps for a fun race at ALBI. Thanks to Pete for sorting it. I take it we will run the 10/10ths race in a couple of weeks time? Maybe people can look at their Diaries and sort out a day that suits most just so we can get a fullish grid?

Looks like it was a good race. Great show to Pete for putting it on. Spud is away at the moment, but as soon as I'm able to discuss the situation with him (or rather, it ought to be decided between Spud and pirenzo really), I guess we'll have an announcement. Unfortunately, for me, GPL isn't even on the back burner right now - I haven't driven a single lap since Monza......

From my point of view as Scott and myself bothered to turn up on the correct day for the race, i am Against racing again.
We should be awarded the points as the league admin think neccesary for the race positions, whether that be including or excluding the interlopers who helped make it a decent race. This is just my opinion and by no means a demand, i did enjoy my race as my praccy had been very bad, but my race was really good with me having to defend my position from both Nick Smith & Mark Hughes in turn . Pete |

Sorry for the no show last night folks. Decided to run my first NR2003 league race instead, at Rockingham UK. Was very worthwhile, finishing 2nd in race 1 (lost the lead on the last corner of the last lap - aaaargh!), and 4th in Race 2 (having lost top gear about 15 laps from home). Still a good fun debut Was in the "V8Thunder dsi nexdox Lites" series - forum page here. And after one day I've already joined an online racing team - Team Motorhead, and we got a 1-2 in my first race too! |

The only problem there is that the host server is Spudgun or, failing that, whoever Spudgun and/or pirenzo shall nominate. Just because Pete was kind enough to host does not render that the TTFRL host server - and particualrly so as non-Ten Tenths members took part. Its no odds to me and I'm only commenting really, as I have no say at all in what happens.......

I'm not bothered either. Its only a game and its not like we are vying for the lead! I just wanted to have a race beings as I had made a special effort to travel the 90 mile journey from work to home with time to spare.

I repeat as Scott and I both bothered to turn up even if there is no server, i volunteered to host the race, as it was a ten tenths league race.
I also asked permission but was not answered one way or another if i could allow others in. I am afraid that my League will have to take precedence over 10/10ths . Congrates to Scott for his podium last night enjoyed our dice enormously. I had thought that i might be able to regain that second place as i could still hold your pace when you past. Pete |

Looking at both of our lap times, we were within a tenth of each other for most part of the race. Was great fun. I was just lucky that I only had 1 major off and more importantly, didn't get rammed by anyone!
