Sorry for out topic.

BOB Suzuki says that if the grid is not filled with GT3 and GT300, they might participate in the Suzuka 10 hour race by GT4 car.
https://lineblog.me/studiebob/archives/9317850.html

Why do we participate in Blancpain GT Asia by two car?
*That's because we judged that we need as much information as possible.
*And we don't want to lower the level than SGT era, financially.
(If it were one car participation, it should have been 75% of the annual budget of SGT.)
*Perhaps we might return to SGT or Blancpain GT by the new GT3 car in 2020.

Honda welcome plaza Aoyama will carry out the launch party of GT300 team which will use NSX GT3 (two team) on Feb. 3.
In a word, NSX GT3 user is only two team.

Autosport web reports Takeshi Kimura (CarGuy) interview.
https://www.as-web.jp/supergt/195936?all

Why do you challenge for Super GT?
-That's because I have bought NSX GT3.
My goal is Le Mans 24h race participation.
Our friend recommended SGT participation for the first step.
I can mark the lap time equivalent to Pro-driver in practice.
However, I can't do that in the actual race.
I thought to make race experience to overcome it.
About driver line-up
-Afiq is a very quick driver. He is a standby driver when I could not clear the rookie test.
-Kei is also a quick driver, but he is a Lamborghini Junior driver.
So he can not race by honda. So he became team director.

Thats a massive shame as I really enjoyed following him through the season. Hopefully he pops up somewhere else but it appears to be a slim chance for this season unfortunately. If thats the case he will probably get a seat in Blancpain Asia or similar.

This is going to be a season of some really rough cuts.

Takashi Kobayashi, already a free agent. Hirate out of GT500 just a year after winning his 2nd title. Yasuda also likely gone, another former GT300 champion. Gulf Racing has their best season a year ago, now they're going to clear the decks too.

Also, with BMW Team Studie out, I do find it worryingly ironic that the team that helped make GT3 a viable and cost-friendly alternative to JAF-GT300 is now leaving, partially due to the cost of running a GT3 programme.

@rjoconnell

Do you think B-Max Racing will stepped up to GT500 to replaced MOLA in GT500 grid in Nissan

If they did , how about MOLA Racing team if they stepped down to GT300 , Speaking about Nissan GTR GT3, Gainer is one of the customer team have the brand new GTR GT3 as we heard about the rumors said that GTR GT3 evo has been delayed.

I think Yuya Motojima would be a good fit, genuinely fast and has ties to Porsche (PCCJ champion, drove for D'station in 2 races last year).

In Japanese classic-car magazine,
Team Gulf owner (he is classic racing car collector) says that Super GT is too competitive for him, so he wants to shift to enjoy motor sports.
Actually he had participated in Dubai 24h as amateur driver.
Perhaps this policy change might have gone to budget cut.

To be precise, Pacific Racing is the entrant, and Gulf is a main sponsor.
So Gulf might withdraw from SGT sponsor.

@Japanese Samurai

If that's the case, Pacific Racing should find another sponsor before the season starts.

I've checked out the team profile.
Gulf Japan is not just a main sponsor but joint participation.
If Gulf Japan withdraw, Pacific racing might lose Porsche GT3R chassis. IMO.

Hmm , I don't think GULF Japan will withdraw the sponsor in Pacific Racing.

The reason of Budget cuts that because they participate Dubai 24 Hours race as amateur driver so they need a lot of budget to participate that race by supplying the news tyres especially with different tyres manufacturer they participate SUPER GT with Yokohama tyres while they using Hankook tyres in Dubai 24 Hours race plus they need to prepared a lot of spare part to participate that race as well.

Speaking about Pacific Racing , they don;t have enough money to buy the new chassis itself for themselves as independent team like Arnage Racing.
