Congratulations to Born Racer Fan on becoming Predictions Contest World Champion 2020. She achieved the highest number of Grand Prix wins of everyone, with a total of 5 in the 17 Grand Prix season. It was a closely-fought battle with multiple world champion smellysocks, who has finished just four points behind at season's end.

He had a fantastic round in Abu Dhabi to end the season with a winning score of 112 points and his second win of the year (after Portugal) and managed to take the gap down to a tantalisingly close margin at the conclusion of this exciting season. He managed to get all of the top 10 finishers in his predictions, even guessing Pérez wouldn't make it (although perhaps not for the same reason as in reality).

Most closely-fought wins There were 3 ties on points over the season: Hungary - wolfhound won from crmalcolm with 97 points. Belgium - Born Racer Fan won from me with 94. Spain - a three-way tie with Born Racer Fan winning from wolfhound and me with 96.

Incidentally, crmalcolm was the only person not to claim a round win, using a strategy of putting the previous round's results as his predictions for each subsequent round

Congrats for BRF and to everyone. I blotted my copybook by forgetting to enter the last round, which has been a bit of a habit! Must try harder next season!

Team smelly put a lot of effort into the final race and it almost came right, but it was too little too late.

The Sakhir race is what sunk our season in the final analysis. Stupid Leclerc and stupid Merc pit crew cost so many points! A low point in our season.

ps. Now this whole thing can be made good for team smellysocks if 5 points are allocated for highest single race point total of the season!
