What has happenned to Chris Buttler?
Chris Butler ran well in a VL in the NZ V8 Tourers (before they ran the later model cars), and then went over to run in the Konica series last year but only did a few rounds.
Last thing I heard is that they were possibily going to run a 2 car team with some guy called Van Gulzen (or something) who used to race FF's I think. Has anyone heard anything? |

I know I've heard something lately, but the old brain is getting a bit muddled. Have a feeling he may have sold his car, but not 100% certain on that one. Will endeavour to find out for you.

Crash Test, Chris definantly sold his car. Recall reading it in Motorsport News a few months back.

Thanks. I was told that he still has his car and it is being prepared with the intention of finding a sponsor quick smart and contesting a few rounds. I hope he hasn't sold it, but it wouldnt be a suprise because he was apparently dicked around by sponsor at the start of the season so maybe he has now called it quits, ****.

The car is still for sale, but if it doesn't sell Butler wants to run in some Konica rounds and Bathurst. (This weeks M/S News)

Ok ..while we are on the subject of missing drivers ...does anyone know what has happened to young Layton Cranbrook ???
remember him..only a teenager and ran a few races in 99 as a privateer and did very well indeed..i think he ran one race in 2000 but has not been heard of since.. Layton where are you ????? |
