Watched the Carlow Mark 2 Challenge last night on DVD. Well worth buying if your into MK 2’s. Great in car stuff especially Pat Donegan who’s co driver deserves an award. She spends half a stage keeping the door shut with one arm, which was damaged after the car leaving the road after someone poured water on the road. Which leaves her with only one arm to read the notes!!!

Ian,

I saw on one of your pages an Escort in Belga colours. Obviously somebody with good taste because that's the Mallett RACING colour scheme too.

Anuauto has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Cant find that Belga picture in this thread - but Robert Droogmans was pretty spectacular in 82/3 in the Belgian Open Championship in the Belga Ecort run by Jeff Churchill. Got a picture of it somewhere (as well as my car in 83 with the Belga door numbers used on many of the events) ....must work out how to post them sometime...

There is something about Escorts both Mk1 and Mk2 that makes them so photogenic. I have been out and about the Robin Hood Stages today the opening round of the 2005 MSA British Historic Rally Championship and this meant lots of Escorts:-

Hi, this is the first time I have looked at these forums - and what a nice surprise - a thread on Mk2 escorts. Does anyone know where I can find downloadable videos of escorts (preferrably BDA's) Also some good videos or dvd's that I can buy? Someone mentioned the Carlow Mk2 Challenge DVD.... Where can I get me one of those!

Hi all,

Have not posted on this forum since causing an argument over prescott hill What I am after is pictures of Longcross from the 15th May 2005, I was competing in car no.47. ( a atunning car and a tribute to its owner) We only completed 1 1/2 stages due to breaking a half shaft on landing after the first jump, got all four wheels in the air so you can understand why I am looking for them. hope you can help or point me in the right direction.

Thanks

Paul Fife
