Well they haven’t got the resources of 888, but that’s not their fault. Hopefully the competition will stay close up front

It is absolutely their fault. Their lot in their racing life is a consequence of their decisions, made with consideration of the consequences.

Pick driver A, pick car brand B, pick engineer C, pick team manager D, pick team location E, pick enduro driver F, pick commercial partner sourcer G.... all decisions made with consideration of the consequences, good and bad.

This whole 'punching above their weight' thing is a way of trying to lift where there is no particular reason to lift.

There are 24 cars on the grid, and at the start of any race weekend, all start at zero... its internal paradigms that can get in the way of what's really going on..

The seagulls circling the fish wrappers on the Gold Coast are squawking about a rejuvenated Tekno for next season, with 2 RECs and Ms de Silvestro piloting one, and a Super2 frontrunner in the other.

Is a former Bathurst winner the likely engineer?

My source is dubious, due to Ms de Silvestro's convenient Instagram post with Mr van Gisbergen and Mr J Kostecki... However there was great emphasis expressed on the desire to race a Triple Eight chassis.

The make-up of a 2020 Tekno has me curious though. Perhaps a merger with either MSR or KBR is in the offing?
