Golden Day For Australian Motorsport
Doesn’t get much better than this, with Dan winning Monaco and Will winning the Indy 500.
Also big congratulations to young Tasmanian Alex Peroni winning at Monaco in the Formula Renault Eurocup. |

Great to see isn't it?
Aussie names on the Trophies this year for two of the biggest name single-seater races there are. Fantastic results all round. |

It was a fantastic coincidence that they both won.
Riccardo had power problems and took the win, while the entire Indy field had a Power problem; he took the win. |

Jack (son of Motorcycle legend Mick) Doohan has claimed his maiden British Formula 4 win in Race 3 at Thruxton. Starting second, Doohan got the better of pole-sitter Dennis Hauger at the end of Lap 5 and pulled clear to take his first win in the category. (Doohan also received GBP5000 in prize money for being the first rookie driver to win a race in 2018.) |

Was a great reason to do an all nighter. Thank goodness I didn't have to go into work today.

There's a little town south of Toowoomba, Millmerran ,Darling Downs region, where a young bloke from toowoomba won a race on a dirt track in a Datsun.
That young bloke was a teenager called Will Power. now here's a coincidence, One young bloke from NSW cut his early days on dirt tracks as well. That young bloke was Sir Jack Brabham. Great weekend for Australian Motorsport Congrats to Will, Dan and Alex, hopefully our bike riders do well, and another guy on the dirt tracks in the World of Outlaw sprint cars |

All we need now is an Aussie or two on the podium at Darwin.

Best of luck to Jack this weekend at the team's home track (and riding the 2017 bike that won the race last year). His consistency of late has shown a remarkable turnaround from the 'win it or bin it' attitude of earlier years |
