VSCC Cadwell Park 7th June 2015

Good turn out from competitors and spectators at Cadwell yesterday for the VSCC's annual visit there. Was fairly wet last year but this year dry and sunny if a little cool in the breeze early on. As usual lots of good stuff to see and an eclectic mix of cars. So a couple of random batches of photos from the afternoon races for anyone interested:

Managed a flying visit (not literally, like JP who flew in quite early!) and saw the first 5 races. Such a well attended meeting in a beautiful setting, really well maintained and, unlike last year, excellent weather.

Malcolm, do you mean car 1 (number at an angle so difficult to read) the red-white single seater? It's a Kurtis Indy-Roadster - finished second.

VSCC at Cadwell is one of the best, most entertaining meetings of the year. Well worth a visit.

If the VSCC meeting at Cadwell ever has a two day event or has another interesting series running on the other day I would be there. I'm afraid the 400+ mile round trip is too much for a one day event.

They don't tend to run this as a two-day meeting as a lot of the VSCC members combine it with the Classic & Vintage Hillclimb which is held at Harewood Hillclimb on the Saturday (I did a separate thread on that). So a lot of people can combine it a trip to West Yorkshire one day and then across to Lincolnshire the following day.
