Anglesey - Where did that lot come from ???
It was good to see so many orange clad folks at Anglesey over the weekend. It looked like there were enough out there to 'people' a full circuit Oulton meeting.
I don't know whether a lot of them were Anglesey virgins, but it would be nice if every Trac Mon event were so well supported. I hope you all enjoyed the two action packed days of racing and will return for more in 2005. Thanks from NW Formula Ford 1600. We need each other. |

It may have been the barbie that attracted them!

Hindsight suggests that the scroot bay may not have been the best location:

Noted the same thing Diz, there did seem to be plenty of marshals at the circuit both Sat & Sun.
This was particularly noticeable at Radar - even more so as on the Sunday I tried a 'no chance overtake' and went into Radar 2 abreast, result being car going up over kerb/grass on the left hander and pretty much facing the marshals post !! I had a great weekend (again) at Anglesey So a big thanks to all involved - the BRSCC, the Marshals, the circuit and to the other Fiesta competitors (expect the 2 that were in front of me !!) |

Is that a special effects lens to make the marshals and drivers look younger.

Thank you Formula Ford drivers for a great weekend, pity about the rain in the later stages of the Sunday pre87 race, and the chance to mingle on Saturday night.
My best wishes to Sprocket for a speedy recovery, no doubt he'll be keeping his hand in commentating on the various activities of the hospital day........ PS I too was surprised at the number of marshals who appeared out of the woodwork for this meeting. As I said to Jan (Gower) 'Anglesey is Oulton Park on its holidays' and taking advantage of a club two day meeting. I wish we could have more of the same. |

I think the in field at Anglesey opposite the pits should be used for the B.B.Q next time which would provide an exellent view without the stinging eyeballs.

Anglesey's great fun, and I was really sorry not to get to last weekend's meeting - glad everyone had a good time, and hope (despite 400-mile round trip from Cumbria) to do at least one next season.

oh man, next time i decide to install my own webserver, someone please shoot me
It's taken 2 days to sort this out, but it think it should be working now. I'll have a whole load of other stuff on here at a later point in time, but until then here's a bunch of snaps from Anglesey last weekend... Anglesey We must do the BBQ more regulary, it's a great way to meet the people who make our lives fun every weekend, come rain or shine |

Hey Hepatic your effort was well worth it, they are excellent photos. I agree with you about the BBQ but you need a captive audience which, in reality could only happen at Anglesey.

yeah, sorry about not getting any FF's on there. I could only make saturday late afternoon, so missed most of the racing that day and with marshalling on the sunday i didn't get another chance to take any photos. Probably the only drawback to marshalling is not being able to carry a camera, but it's obviously too dangerous if we did...
