Thats to LOW, we must remember the car was in "red line" and this car only have 5 speed…NO WAY we are going to see 360 km/h in Le Mans IMHO.

Unless they changed the gear ratio!!!!

Probably this car won´t have the hybrid working… but who knows

They can change gear ratios, this isn't Formula 1...

Could that be at their own facility in Arizona? Either that or a subset of a much larger track, looking at the way the circuit looped back on itself so quickly. I'm not aware if CoTA has a short track of that nature, so correct me if you know about it.

That has to be the most extreme driving position that I have ever seen. Wonder how it is under long distances?

I won't doubt any of that, but from what we know of the Nissan drivers Tincknell is one of (if not the) tallest. It won't be quite as extreme for the others.

I'm over the moon seeing this. The blue flames coming out of these 3 inch 'exhausts'. The pick up of the flywheel under braking and these raging noises when fully charged... woah!

Are you sure this is the track map? Looks like the driver's position ergonomics to me.

Maybe, add in all that rear tunnel wind and this track map is a pretty good representation of the car with its long front end and rear end that has the possible aerodynamic effects that are incredible. We'll see. But this graphic has a couple of meanings.

Wasn't audi hitting 180mph at Spa last year? This thing has another gear left, probably setup changes plus some gear ratio changes as already said.

It was still accelerating when the digital readout couldn't be seen in the video. 283kmh was the last # I could make out before he started braking.

So with another gear is any body here capable of figuring out roughly what it could hit?

no surprise at all, R10 and R15 too had a 5speeds gb with a very long gear ratio. Surely the top speed of this car will be impressive, but very unlikely it will be the overall performances too.

Depends on how long the straight was. And also very weirdly the launch spec for car seems to run with quite a big rear wing, maybe even bigger than last years sprint package Audi. I don't know why they would need so much rear DF when the car is very front biased. Now they may be generating massive amount of front DF, but i really doubt that.

They will need some very strong front tires.

Depending how "stretched" the gear´s are... I bet 330-340 km/h… probably it´s not enough, because Audi, Toyota and Porsche will be aroud 350 km/h if not more :-)

Very extreme seating position indeed and most likely not the most comfortable...

6/10th mile straight according to their website http://racepbir.com/tracks/road-course. Thats about 960m, a little short of a km. Doing near 285km isnt bad imo.

One thing for sure, the Nissan GT-R LM was not designed with a view to provide the most comfortable seating position to its drivers. A more "conventional" LMP1 arguably provides a far better seating position as highlighted for instance in the R18 cut-away:

I do hope that a tall driver like Harry will not suffer too much from this rather awkward seating position.
