Spyker LMP1 for 2006?
dailysportscar.com reported a couple days ago that an italian news magazine announced Spyker will make a LMP1 (closed roof GTP) for the 2006 season. pretty significant as its the first confirmed GTP variant of the new 2004 rules to be announced.

Well, we reported this two months ago but yesterday they gave an update on their current financial situation. I will wait and see...

According to Het Financieele Dagblad:
In 2002, the company lost 1.1 million Euro. In 2003, the company lost 4.8 million Euro. For 2004, the company expects to do better than in 2003. The company has produced a total of 28 cars (since they started production in the last quarter of 2003). They are expecting to produce 45-50 cars this year; 49 of those have already been sold. They are planning to enter the stock exchange later this month. (Much more information can be found at above link). |
