Don't let F1 near Laguna Seca. F1 ruins every track it touches...

Qualifying is starting and it's still very wet out there.

Turn 10 is proving really tricky. If the conditions stay more or less the same during the race and there was a gaggle of cars, going through Turn 10 it could be bit ugly.

different circumstances for sure but still the complete opposite to how Indy 05 was dealt with from an image point of view. in a weird way i think this will actually help F1 with its image in the US. kinda wish i was there. enjoy today Lanky! |

Looks like its getting wetter, with Q3 delayed. They could set the grid from Q2 but if the conditions remain the same, then what about the race?

The weather radar I posted above now looks like it's ready to clear.
http://www.yr.no/sted/USA/Texas/Aust..._for_time.html We might have a dry race in a few hours. Last edited by Paradise City; 25 Oct 2015 at 15:23. |

That was a tentative start, with Rosberg running wide.
Hamilton and Rosberg actually touched. Looks like Hamilton ran Rosberg wide. Last edited by bjohnsonsmith; 25 Oct 2015 at 19:13. |

Great move by Ricciardo. Love to see him take the lead from Hamilton.

That was a great restart after the caution. Lots of action.

Congrats to Lewis on his 3rd WDC and the perfect result for Mercedes.

Great race. Congratulations Lewis.
After seeing how it stayed unpredictable even after the track dried I'd like to see Nico Hulkenberg's suggestion of cutting practice time heeded. It's much better when the teams don't really know what they're doing! |

That was awesome! Great race from Hamilton, Vettel and Verstappen. Rosberg showed some fightingspirit, but made a few mistakes, and at least 1 to many. Raikkonen is really past his selling date.

Thoroughly enjoyed that race.
Rosberg's not doing anything for his popularity is he? Very sulky on the podium. Congrats to Lewis Hamilton. Very convincing victory and nice to see some raw emotion from a driver. He looked completely shattered after he got his helmet off. |

What does the race and the Pirelli hat have in common?
Rosberg threw them both away. |

Here Nico, have a glass of champagne, we just won the constructor's championship. Your car broke down (again), this time while you were leading and now you're virtually out of the championship, but let's celebrate! |

In the mean time Force India has increased the gap to Lotus by another 7 points.
Lotus better start looking behind (only 5 points ahead of Toro Rosso) |

Very good point on Sky tonight (Teds Notebook) with Montoya interview.
Asked if he thought Lewis was too aggresive on turn one, Juan Pablo said.. He had no option. If they both went off and out, Lewis would still of been World Champion anyway.. |

That's not true. He had to outscore Vettel by 9 points too.

I enjoyed Rosberg throwing his hat at Hamilton. Good to see those two are best buddies.
