One of the most important things to consider is which chassis has the most support in your area, the closest/best dealer, the most other racers running that chassis. Just starting out you will have many questions, want to do maintenance and upgrades. Having a dealer that supports the brand of chassis you run, who is maybe at the tracks you run, can be invaluable. Having a large group of racers that run that particular chassis gives you lots of people to rely on for advice, tuning tips, setup, etc. Nothing is worse than spending your money on a kart that's hard to get parts for, or is different enough that fellow racers can't help when you ask questions. I think you will find, in general, kart racers to be some of the most freindly, helpful people you will find, they recognize that everyone starts somewhere, in fact when you ask their advice, they can probably see themselves in the same position, and will usually go way out of their way to help you. Maybe not the answer you were looking for, but.....
