Question over weight Limits
Just a quick question, when the rules refer to a car in FIA GT not being less than 1100kg, does that mean without a full fuel tank? Or does it mean just the car with no driver and no fuel must be no less than 1100kg? Thanks in advance.

I don't know the specifics on FIA GT regs, but for ACO, it specifies what is weighed and how it is weighed.....
It has been so long since I have read that info that I don't want to pass along bad info to you... Go to the ACO site and click on their 2003 or 2004 regulations... Or go to www.imsaracing.net to ensure that you can see the regs in English....they should spell it out.... BTW...I do not believe that it includes the driver, but I'm not sure about wheter it is "dry weight" or with fuel... |

Okay thanks for that Tim. I was just looking through the FIA GT media guide on www.fiagt.com and there is no mention as to whether the minimum weight is with the driver and fuel in the car or not. Again thanks for the links I will check them out now.
