Original decision upheld. What is the big fuss? And this is in the wrong forum because it has nothing to do with marshalling..

Let's see if we can take something positive from this.

Hmm.

Ok, we now know the official retail price of a Team Orders token.

How much this will add to budgets for the year remains to be seen.

It does worry me somewhat when it becomes evident that marshals are as ignorant about the sport as most of the fans.

PULSERACING should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
If i was to spend £200 million plus per season i would want complete control as to how my drivers were to compete and team orders are always going to be in the sport and need to be imposed in a more discreet manner ,Rob smedley !!

IMHO, Team orders don't make for good racing, thats why I gave up on F1. I often see better and more exciting racing at Club level than at the so called pinnacle of Motorsport, which is a really sad reflection on the state of things. I am part of a group that are mainly F1 fans - I stay in touch out of the friendship we developed over the years on various forums, some try to convince me that F1 is as exciting today as ever and that all this stuff reflects real racing.. but in my book.. racing means fastest (and sometimes luckiest) man (or woman) wins. I like my motorsport decided on the tarmac not on the pit wall.

And yes I know there are those who will disagree with my view.. thats your right.. as much as I have the right to be excited by honest competitive driving.

Please note the following.
Just My Opinion.... YMMV

There is already a thread regarding this matter in the F1 forum so I am closing this one.

That's a bit more like it - some intelligent debate.

The way I see it team orders are and always have been an integral part of motorsport and in general are not harmful to the spectacle. As far as I'm concerned, a team earns the right to use team orders through achieving competitive superiority on the track/stage.
