Used ST car prices!
Works out to just $11K US!! But I don't know if it's in running condition???

My Japanese isnt the best, but the question has to be asked, is it a genuine Supertourer?? The only english characters bouncing at me are 155 V6... so presumably it isnt...
The car also doesnt seem as barred up inside as the similar car that was campaigned here in Australia by Steve Richards, David Auger and Andre Morgan |

if i'm right, there is written the car was in the btcc and jtcc or it only has the muffler from those series

Interesting, not quite what kmchow had in mind I dont think, a road car tarted up for the track with some genuine and non genuine bits and pieces. I guess an Alfa 155 is rare in Japan anyway, as it is here in Australia too...
That babel conversion is quite impressive... |

I didn't notice the license plates, but didn't the description mention something about it being the real thing and racing in a few JTCC races?? OTOH, it does seem awfully cheap, even for an old ST car.

Something doesn't add up about that Alfa. How many real Super Tourers have 77,000km on the clock (and do they even have an odometer!?)
It's also a 4WD V6 - weren't those 155's only seen in the DTM and that aint a DTM car! It has 2 seats, and the rollcage to me doesn't look too extensive. Perhaps a converted road going Alfa. |

True, the km reading makes me wonder too.
I guess it's both good/bad it ain't a ST car. Good b/c you can drive it on the road, sad b/c it ain't a ST car. It's cool you can fool some people including me!!! Now this car is nice--not those tacky Fast and Furious type of car mods!! Last edited by kmchow; 25 Jun 2003 at 00:34. |
