Hi Louis

Glad you have sorted everything out and you are back in business!
Sorry not to catch you at Iain's BBQ at Silverstone.
Good luck with the meeting, maybe we will come down in 2011, a bit tied up this year.

Thanks for the newsletter Louis, we will be there in the Lotus 23 - we haven't been to Dijon before but have heard how great it is. Looking forward to seeing a lot of friends there in HFO and FJ!

Just to clarify as HSCC haven't got back to me, is it only Sports up to 2 litre or TC, GT and Sport all up to 2 litre?

That's what I was working on, but Louis' post above got me worrying - so far I haven't had a response from HSCC to my question. I'll pop the entry in the post and see what happens.

Price comparison

.

I was doing a price comparison and just found out that HSCC is charging €597 at Dijon THB for 1 qualifying and 2 races. Mind you, you're already paying €183 for their annual membership.

Road sports under 2L racing in the F.I.S.C. Legendary Circuits on the contrary will be paying €550 for 1 qualifying and 3 races. One race more, but paying less.

In defence of the HSCC one must say that
F.I.S.C. has no commercial objective and everyone involved in this series volunteers their time w/o financial reward.

Hey Jerry, here's your chance to race on a proper circuit.

Remember the battle between Villeneuve and Arnoux?

Understand there is a possibility of a Cheap 3 Hour race (under 700 Quid) for Sports Cars and stuff.A Dijon version of Autosport 3 hrs.

Sure this would be an excellent idea and people could take it in on way down to the following weeks sprint at Ricard.Would work ideally as we do not have B8 HSCC race at Spa this year.

The same cars are due in the Italian /Two Hour Race /CER the next week at Ricard so it would be an ideal late season dual weekend. Probably let some sort of saloons in by invitation to get a full grid

If the Dijon Team could put this together especially with Graham White and his gang at one of the better circuits in Europe this meeting would take off.

That bloke Andy could win it with his mate after his superb victory at Gold Cup meeting.Good thing we didn't go!Scary .

Hi John,

thanx for your nice words, but just a precision, the 3 hours at Dijon is now more than 10 years old and we've been running it at Paul Ricard for 4 years now, we've also been to Spa and we kind of introduced this format to the HSCC at Sneterton 3 years ago as it was part of the series.

If you remember there were some french racers there for the first edition, the one that used to race in our 3 hours at Dijon.

Hope the HSCC will spread the words to its members as a partnership between us

We've been running this event for more than 20 years and we always had big crowds of racers and as you maybe know we will receive grids like the HFOC, Boss GP, Supersports among others.

More details on the website http://www.gpao.fr
