Lol your battle was brilliant Andy...and although there was some paint trading, it wasn't malicious.

In case I don't get another chance I'd like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Ahhhh is it Christmas ... when was that arranged ..i missed the thread obviously ..

Generally the damaged to cars is less than a car park ding.. you may be doing 100mph but then so is the other car .. so collision speed difference isnt a factor .. its when you have a car spinning infront or coming to a dead car when your blindsided, that damage happens. Both of which you are in the hands of the Gods sometimes.

As for someone intentionally hitting a car i'm involved with i'd be having stern words of the compensation type to the other driver.. and Allthough Andy's car took more than few knocks this year, I never had any stern words with anyone. Or in other words they where all racing knocks.

I belive, that in racing to a budget, you drive at 99% leaving that 1% as a buffer against the " if i go for this move it could work out or work out expensive" and also out of respect for your fellow racers. But as the season draws to a close and the points are tight, or you find yourself in the hunt for a win, that 99% becomes 99.9% and thats when a knock may happen..its racing.

The DMN has from what i've seen some of the closest racing out there .. and everyone is raising their game, which is good, long may it continue in the form that it is ......
Gladiators with manners !!!!

Happy Christmas everyone

Off topic comment alert
I have to type this or my brain will explode!

Listen you lot:
1. I DO NOT HAVE A CAT! And hence no fetish!
Still do not know where that rumour came from.
2. Nobody, but nobody can bribe me with donuts, berliner thingies or whatever.
Unless you drive a racing car, marshal or do other racing duties.
3. I hope that I will never see you again!
For this year that is.

Thanks for reading, you've been a wonderful audience. Don't forget to try the veal and tip your waitress. We now return you to the topic

To all DMN folk and others obviously: Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year.

I'll be back!

I'm back!

In case somebody thinks I'm serious, I have news for them: I'm not.
I just felt like posting something like that.

Got you all there, eh?

Now where is me cat?

Ooh, ooh I forgot: isn't the DMN calendar great. Just got mine today (thanks Rod for posting it). Some superb work done here.
