As a fun non-scientific reference. GTLM pole a few weeks ago was 1 min 22.7 sec. GTD was 1 min 24.4 sec.

Three cars didn't go out to save their 10-tyres per car allocation which starts today till Sunday...cars #9 (K-PAX Bentley), #19 (WRT Audi), and #29 (Land Audi). An encouraging 1-2 for the two Porsche 911 GT3 Rs.

Great coverage...missed the lead change for over 2 laps.

It was a good move too- Marciello making it three wide going up to the Corkscrew- but the camera was following GT4 machinery up ahead.

Quality of TV coverage is definitely 2nd grade. Not many cameras and no onboards. More like the regular PWC race than any actual SRO event.
