Chris Wadell is the most likely to have snaps of GF but GK and I lost track of him years ago. If it comes down to it you might try tracking him through CBC as he was a talking head on the telly some years ago.

Another thought is that David Loring might know who the photogs covering the series in '74 were. If memory serves it was '74 that he subbed for Gilles when GV was recovering from a broken leg.

GK and DL are good buds and in contact all the time so if DL has any ideas they will get to you.

Wish I could help more but I didn't get involved with the series until the end of the '75 season.

I have a bunch of photos from the IMSA race meet at Ontario Motor Speedway on May 9th 1976, one of the races was a US Formula Atlantic Championship round won by Gilles Villeneuve. I need an entry and/or full results list so I can put driver/team/constructor names to the rest of the cars.

My recollection is that I have very few good snaps from that weekend. If I do find more that are decent enough I'll add them to my Atlantic set on flickr.

I was covering the series for Autoweek then and just might still have an entry and results sheet buried somewhere in the garage.

I'll put that on the list of stuff to look for and if I come across it I'll post the info here.

I don't have an entry list for that race but I have enough numbers from other races that season to be able to identify most cars. We have full results for that race on OldRacingCars.com but they aren't available at the moment because of Wikipedia stealing material off my website. The easiest thing might be if you post up a list of numbers you can see on the side of cars, I'll tell you what I have.

Thank You very much, as I continue to dig through my archives & scan more images I am sure I will be having more questions.

I do have additional pictures from that race including some of Gilles Villenueve but they are rather badly faded prints on satin paper and as so are very hard to scan. I am hoping I can find the negatives in my archives.
