GP3 problem!
i brought gp3 the other day and tried to update it all to 2001 spec. I downloaded some offical patch, gp3edit thinggy, dcypter or however u spell it thing, 2001 paint scemes and it all works. But when i turn off my computer and turn it on again i get a message saying error program
A required .dll file, BINKW32.DLL, was not found. What the hell is wrong and how do i fix it. Ive tried for ages now and it still happends. HELP! |

I had the same problem.
If you read the instructions that came with the decryptor, you'll note that you must copy these files from the disk to the GP3 file. I gave up and used unsafedisk instead (another decryptor) Good luck, brilliant game

There should be instructions ( you have to unwrite protect the disk files (I think - help someone) copy the file to your Gp3 directory, and run it from there.

Forget all that malarkey! Go to Grandprix3.com and find out about GP3 Edit - it's as easy as pie to change stuff then!

Or wait a month or so for the official Gp3 add on pack which will feature the 2000 tracks and cars. I get really annoyed trying to use those bodgy home made add ons for Gp3.
Just not worth the hassle to get them going. |

The Hrt Kid, you need to copy the file "dplayerx.dll" from your GP3 CD into the same folder as the GP3.exe file. You can do this throught the "find files/folders" thing in windows. Once you have done this the decrypter will work no problem.
