Add Dave Reynolds to that list, did SFA all 2012 yet was hailed as 'the next big thing' after that last stint at Bathurst. Never heard of the guy until then!

Mr Reynolds gained a lot of credibility before getting involved with Walkinshaw Racing, which went downhill quickly with the excuse of a racecar they supplied him.

He then re-gained a fair bit of it qualifying the Kelly Krate higher up the grid than it should have, on a few occasions. On the whole, he did ok last year, but internal politicking within FPR cost him a few results.

You are kidding right?!

Lost count of the pit crew mistakes that cost DR podiums in 2012.

I'm not, never heard of him in 2011 or 2012 until Bathurst.

I think that Tekno will be seriously fast in 2013, but they will probably fall off when thew equipment stops being close to equal.

I really can't stand Reynolds, lost a lot of respect for him by the way he handled his move to FPR. I also think that his pace in 2012 was more due to the equipment.

I recall him getting big wraps in 2011 after qualifying the gutless wonder in the top ten numberous times. I think Queensland Raceway, and of course his 4th-place run at Bathurst were the main performances.

Didn't he also get his breakthrough pole in 2012? It might've been either Townsville or PI. He finished in the top-10 in the championship, which is good in anybody's languange after not making the top 20 in the Kelly car.

The guys quirkiness won me over. It's great to have a character like this in the sport. Watching him head out to jog a lap of Pukekohe after the last V8 SuperTourer race there last year was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

It's off topic, but I really think there was a LOT more going on behind the scenes that we are privy to

I am sure his car was not mean to be capable of beating the brothers, so when he did in a few races it would not of gone down well

He didn't walk out on the Kellys, they were making life hard for him until his contract was up.

Was it not a case of the Kelly's making life hard for him after they found out that he wanted out ?
