Single spec, single team... is it the way of the future?

Reading the article here, I’m rather concerned that this sort of category is all we’ll have in the future.

Single spec, single team... it doesn’t make it very interesting for the fans (or the engineers I would have thought).

Having said that, I can see the positive side for the competitors, and at junior level, I guess it should be about the competitors rather than the fans.

What does everyone else think?

Please no, the current crop of spec series are bad enough.

One series like FPA and one like FIA F2 is fine, no more than that though.

Totally agree.

The most important point about the multi-spec formulae is that they give everyone involved the potential to learn and develop and that's what is important at this level.
