Sad news today of the passing of Dr. Don Panoz.
Thank you Mr. Panoz for being the vision behind the greatest racing series in history.

Didn't realise how old he was. Sad news, he built a great sportscar in his team

The thundering Panoz GT1 cars are what sparked my interest in Le Mans and sportscar racing in general, so for that I am extremely grateful.
Best wishes to DP's friends and family.

Totally agree, he helped the revival of sportscar racing, but for me the sight and sound of those wonderful panoz cars will always bring a smile to my face and good memories of a man with vision.

I don't know the answer, but you could buy a brand new street version a couple years ago. And I was only 1 lottery ticket away from getting mine. Still one of my favorite cars off all time. Don will be missed.

Any car they've made is available to order, you write the check and you get what ya want.
"The original featured a light and strong carbon fiber monocoque composite chassis, and we can build a near-exact replica. The Panoz GTR-1 is custom built just for you. Call (678) 425-1539 for pricing inquires."
https://panoz.com/sportscars/gtr-1/ or if a Panoz version of the Prowler is your style:

Sorry though joeb, no Abruzzis seem to be on offer
