I think it will be a few more years until Arie Luyendyk's record of 239.260 mph (385.052 kmh) is broken.

The fast 9 qualification system was fairly entertaining.
My 3 I am pulling for are Hinchtown,Newgarden,and Pagenaud.
Can't wait, glad they got 33 entries.

I missed this but Marco Andretti posted a lap of 232.239 mph (38.7531 seconds) in the May 17 practice preceding Round 1 of qualifying.

I agree, it was pretty good. Although, I really only liked the in-car stuff, as watching a single car run 4 laps is not all that entertaining. Although I thought they did a good job with their on screen graphics, and the timing on the website was spectacular. I wish other series could learn from this, or is it proprietary Verizon tech!

Exactly. The website timing was basically real time. Perfect sync with the broadcast. Looking forward to the in car cameras they will have available at the website during the race.

Will there be some sort of PPV stream (or official free one for that matter) of the race available? Can't see the race on TV as the sports channel I need is insanely overpriced (not gonna pay $65/month just to see IndyCar...).
