Couldnt agree more. Maybe this year we'll see the full potential of the GT2 car.

An all out effort in GT-E with pro lineups in both cars is one Im very much looking forward to, its been a while since the works DBR9 efforts-well not if you count Young Driver..

Looking forward to Aston vs Corvette again, even though I think the Astons may not quite be on the pace at Sebring.

I'm also interested to see how this affects Young Driver continuing in the FIA GT series. I assume Prodrive would keep their drivers for their cars during WEC races, so if there are any weekend clashes it might screw things up for YD a bit (assuming they will still be around).

Well at least the AMR-One was good for something.......

Another pic of the new GT3 out on track http://www.endurance-info.com/versio...VantageGT3.jpg

Car looks great btw, similar to the GT2 in a way.

Now that the factory is back I wonder if the GT2 Vantage will be pegged down a bit... it has only been run by privateers so far, meaning that the ACO has been pretty darn generous with their BoP (lightest weight, biggest fuel tank, smaller gurney and restrictor almost as big as BMW's)

Nothing else.
It would be kind of nice to have GT1, 2, 3 & 4 Astons in a single race! LM is big enough you're unlikely to get anyone being lapped...
It seems AMR may read this... Lots of DBR9's out there with nothing to do, and apparently lots of enquiries to AMR... This might just get to be VERY tasty!
GT1 DBR9, GT2 Vantage V8, GT3 DBRS9 and Vantage V12, GT4 Vantage, N24. It could be a highlight of the weekend at this rate!

Why not add a Lola Aston and an AMROne to top and tail the field too? Just for completeness' sake.

They did several laps in qualy back in June. You heard them coming from a LONG way off! Worth it if they could, just for the wail.
Seriously though, an Aston only GT race, for every sort of Aston GT car of the 'modern' era would be great... There's LOTS of them out there, with little to do these days.

Could Jet Alliance be involved with Aston, it was mentioned on MWM they are looking to link-up with a manufactuer that has not yet been represented in the ILMC.

Well out of the manufacturers that ran in ALMS/LMS this year, only be Ford and Jaguar (ok maybe Lambo too) didn't have ILMC entries in either Pro or Am. Other than that it would have to be somebody new.

AMR should look for a possibility to add a 2-car GTE-Pro team with V8 Vantage, just for the sake of more development miles. Someone like JetAlliance or YD AMR would do the job nicely.
Btw, are Jota to continue with the single Vantage GTE entry in GTE-Pro? I assume that Gulf AMR Middle-East aren't.
