Bentley Driver Club Meet - Silverstone
Anyone know if there is a timetable about for this?
Looked on the BDC website and can not see one. |

Practice starts 9:00am and should finish by 11:30am, there will then be a parade of Bentleys of all ages and at 12:00pm Derek Bell will be doing some fast runs in the Le Mans EXP Speed 8, with racing starting at 12:45pm. There are ten races as follows. 1) All Comers Handicap, 2) MG T-Type/AC/Morgan Scratch Race, 3)Pre-War, Bentley, Aston Martin, Lagonda Team Challenge, 4) Morgan Scratch Race +4's, 5) Vintage & PVT Handicapp, 6) Thoroughbred Sports Car Race, 7) Bentley Scratch Race, 8) Allcomers Handicap Race, 9) Bentley Handicap Race & 10) All Comers Scratch Race
Silverstone are charging just £10 to come in, so please do so. Martin Greenslade Sec of Meeting |

I've worked out roughly from my competitors info the last race should start around 4pm.
From a competitiors point of view this is one of the best meetings we do, relaxed friendly, great cars and very mixed cars, in alll a proper club meeting. And time to watch the other races. Always gets put in the diary first! Thanks to all the marshals in advance. |

What with a couple of Bentley parades scheduled during the afternoon we intend to finish by 5:30pm, God willing. There will be around 250 cars from 180 entrants and apart from the Marshals draw we give £7 towards lunch/whatever and try to make it a family day so please come along and enjoy.

A good days racing with some interesting cars on track. Everything from the 24litre Napier engined Bentley, spitting flame under deceleration, to the two Bentley Turbo R's. The breakfast donation was very welcome. Despite the rain during the morning and sunshine in the afternoon, the whole day passed with little or no incidents. Thanks BDC.
