SNH should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Sponsorship

Always worth asking for sponsorship. Got some from the Garrick Theatre, Lichfield & rock band 5 Horse Johnson

Congratulations on that, what championship are you competing in, and what tactics did you use to entice the sponsors?

Did you know the companies before they agreed to back you or were the agreements/contacts made purely on you sending out a brochure/leaflet?
Do you have a secret formula you would like to share with us? :-)

Spill the beans!

SNH - Good for you - hope you have a great season.

DanieljBoys - One sponsorship scam/tactic that certainly used to float around was to get say £10k sponsorhip from a company and then pay back £6k to an associated company as a commission. The "sponsoring" company could write off 40% of the £10k and the net effect to them would be a nil investment and the driver/team would get 40% of the monies raised.
However i suspect that with dear Old Gordon Brown as chancellor that such a deal is now punishable by death.LOL
