Onslow's car was owned by Onslow, later sold to Drew Price. Crompton drove Peter Boylan's RT20 whenever it was available in 89/90. At Amaroo in 89 Crompton tangled with John Smith in Dave Mawer's RT21. At Phillip Island in 1990 Smith wrote off the tub and Dave Mawer build his own replacement, reportedly substantially stiffer than the original, which helped a lot and revised the wings, which didn't work at all when Onslow drove the car the next year. I can't think of where the Larkham car came from, was this originally the Jon Davison chassis? |
