2010 GP2 Asia TWPC - Championship Predictions

Welcome to the 2010 GP2 Asia Two Worlds Prediction Competition! This fun competition give us the opportunity to predict race results in the third season of GP2 Asia series that will begin very soon.

Due to its interseason nature, this champ will be only avaliable to three of the forums regularly involved in GP2 TWPC: Ten-Tenths, GlobalF1 and ClubF1. The basic rules will be almost the same as regular GP2 TWPC ones.

With this opening thread, we'll predict the top 8 drivers and teams of the final standings of the short 2009-10 GP2 Asia championship. Who will be the fortunate ones? Remember that there will be only four rounds, two at Abu Dhabi and two at Bahrain, and that an entire new generation of drivers coming from lower formulae will make the grid alongside few GP2 veterans, aiming to be at the GP2 Main Series next year.

The deadline will be at 23:59 GMT Hour of Sunday, November 1st.

I'm not sure how Bianchi and Ericsson will split their drive, if they were both doing the full dance then I'd have them both in that list.

Ericsson is confirmed for the opening round, Bianchi will do 2 rounds (the 2nd Abu Dhabi round and one of the Bahrain rounds), and for the other Bahrain round the #8 ART car is not yet filled to my knowledge.

I have never indulged in these predictions, so am unsure how you work them out, and would be interested to see how ART could be 2nd in the championship if Bianchi is to come 8th, doing only two of the rounds, and if you don't rate Bird or Ericsson at all in the top 8.

It's hard to do this this year as you don't know what drivers will stay where. Lam Pak I'm interested, you have Valsecchi as 1st do you expect him to be driving for iSport for the whole series? If so how come iSport don't even make it into your top 8 teams?

Maybe it's a great idea from Lam Pak. If Valsecchi wins, Lam Pak collects the points from his driver's prediction, and if Valsecchi sucks, he doesn't lose more points from the Teams prediction because iSport is not included.
