Marshalling; Dtm At Zandvoort
JUST COME BACK FROM HOLLAND ON HOLIDAY, WHILST OVER THERE WE HAD VOLUNTEERED TO MARSHALL AT ZANDVOORT , DTM RACE WEEKEND (AS YOU DO).JUST LIKE TO SAY THANKYOU TO OUR DUTCH COLLEAGUES ON POST 19, HAD A FANTASTIC TIME, FELT REALLY WELCOME ESPECIALLY IN THE MARSHALLS CLUB HOUSE, GOOD FOOD,MUSIC AND BEER
 NEVER MARSHALLED ABROAD BEFORE RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE;SAME STUFF DONE DIFFERENTLY..ATMOSPHERE GOOD. I GUESS WERE ALL ONE BIG ORANGE MARSHALLING FAMILY.(THANKYOU TO FRANK, BOB(FRANK) QUESTION IS IT JUST US WHO CANT KEEP AWAY.. EVEN ON HOLIDAY....

Good to hear from you Dutch Chap. There seems to be a shortage of marshals club houses at circuits around the UK that we can go to after a day's racing to relax and unwind with colleages. When you lay on free food and drink for the marshals over the weekend it tends to bring the marshals together rather than just to fizzle out at the end of the day. We will hopefully be coming back next year sometime and, if possible, go back on the same post. Please keep us posted by PM of next year's calendar please and give us a shout when you are coming this direction.

What a oppotunity you people have. Living in England,Europe or where ever tracks galore.So different down here in N.Z.if you want to improve its off to Australia some of us do anyway.We get the DTM racing here in NZ. Its fantastic to watch,So guys I envy you lot may be one day we will get there or you guys can come down here.I need some marshals in the new year Jan 1st& 2nd 05 offers!!!!!! well folks have a good weekend racing . We hope to go to Australia one day and marshal on the V8 cars and pick ups. We watch it on tele all the time and think it is exciting racing. All donations for the travelling expenses appreciated!!!
