sauber11 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Its only my guess, but i doubt Molina will do the second and third SLF rounds because at the same time he should drive in WSR. So big chance to see Guerrieri after magny-cours.
WSR calendar
19 Jul. France, Le Mans
02 Aug. Portugal, Autodromo Internacional do Algarve
SF Races
Zolder Belgium July 18/19, 2009
Donington Park UK August 1/2, 2009

It depends which he will be doing better in, SF isn't on the same roadmap but it's better for your career to do well in SF than get spanked in Renault V6.

I'll add a few more that...

What a waste of talent if he doesn't get a drive, but Ultimate is the obvious team.

Getting back to Teixeira and Ultimate, I seem to remember that they had a falling out in F3, so maybe he will be with another team that will be able to release his undoubted brilliance.

Ho-Pin Tung confirmed at Atletico Madrid on the official site.

For most of these drivers, not sure how many races they will do... depends on other commitments, budget etc.

no mention of Frank Perera in connection with any of the teams, its a shame hes a good driver and appears not to be competing in any series, glad that Rigon and Buurman are back for more, looking forwards to these fantastic sounding cars racing again :-)

This year's field looks surprisingly good, let's see how long it takes for the GP2 guys to get used to a V12 (albeit overweight) monster.

Euroseries 3000 also racing this week-end in Magny Cours.... do you think lap times will be very different?

in short: Yes. Superleague will be the faster car, by 3 to 5 seconds a lap (my prediction).

There was a press release sent out last week saying Donington tickets are now on sale.

I think you have to buy them from Donington rather than the Superleague site.

Point taken.

The latest news is that the Spanish girl, Maria de Vilota, is going to join the fray for the rest of the season.

Yes - Bourdais replaces Guerrieri at Sevilla, Parente replaces Gommendy at Porto, Perara replaces Kennard at AS Roma and de Violeta as mentioned

There were rumours going about that Jacques Villeneuve would race this weekend, but it seems to have come to nought

Maybe Guerrieri is going back to Ultimate in WSR now that Greg Mansell has walked out.

I hope so.

Good, Muermans was truly hopeless. Was it Zolder where he kept blocking the frontrunners when they came round to laps him?

No, Donington, but I agree it's good that he has gone.

Perera replacing Kennard is not confirmed yet, the series website still lists Kennard. I hope Kennard doesn't get pushed out of the drive, he was starting to put some good results together.

Guerrieri is trying to stay in the Superleague, he might race with the car of the Olympiakos if the negotiations arise.

Perera does replace Kennard, that is now confirmed, and Guerrieri has joined Olympiacos - Rigon is out, either budget reasons or the fact that they weren't as competitive as he would have liked.
