Asa should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hong Kong driver Marchy Lee has been telling people he will do GP2 next year, but no idea which team at all.

I dont think Molina and Clos will go straight from FA to GP2. Apart from the fact that they wouldn't get the licence, I would have thought they would get some experiance in Renault or BMW.

What about Marco Bonanomi? Didn't he drive for Coloni somewhere along the line, or am I just out of touch again?

Apparantly, Piccione was mentioned being in GP2, likewise Giedo vd Garde...

Bonanomi drove for Coloni in Italian F3 2003 – and took the Lola-Dome's first F3 win in Europe. He drove for Ghinzani and Corbetta this year.

Marchy Lee still aims to be an F1 driver. He is believed to have secured enough funding for GP2 from the Monarch Oil company of China.

But he hasn't yet secured enough talent from anywhere to even get close to Zsolt Baumgartner…

Marchy Lee is the 2004 Formula BMW Asia Champion. He is from Hong Kong, China.

He raced in the Macau F3 Grand Prix 4 times already if I remember right.

Can someone remind me: has Townsend Bell gone back to the States and given up on European single-seaters?

Ah, thanks JJ. I'm trying to catch up on a lot of missing info.

But does Carroll have a big enough budget for GP2? Anyways wish him luck, he's possibly one of the nicest guys out there.

Carroll doesn't have a budget for GP2 – but he's got a good chance of a drive in World Series by Renault with Epsilon Euskadi. A really good team that's not yet had a really top driver.

Well that's good, we all (my parents and me) want Adam to get a decent drive somewhere.

flagworld says its austin who will take the gp2 test. and kerr will test with euskadi and not carroll according to italiaracing.net

as far as what adam WILL be doing this winter. apart from another f1 test with bar he 'hopes' to test a champcar.

Well, Champcar is better than yet another season in Brit F3 though...
Hmm.

DAMS had announced José Maria Lopez and Fairuz Fauzy.

BCN should have Nico Rosberg and Ernesto Viso.

Really I'm delighted with these news, both for López and BCN. Shame that is very difficult for Scalabroni to put any of his countrymen for next year, because Guerrieri doesn't have enough budget to fill the second seat, and there are no other Argentinians in Scalabroni's shortlist.
But it was shocking for me that Fauzy signed with DAMS. Now we know why he wasn't named anymore at P1 Motorsport (Is possible that the departure of Fauzy from P1 caused the resignation of that team to be in GP2?).

P1's boss certainly blames Fauzy for the team not being there.

From the rumours that i hear Viso and Fauzy supossed to join P1 in GP2 2005 but unfortunately after he tested with BCN, Viso already decided to linked with BCN.Everybody know P1 team was struglling finding fund in British F3 2004 before Fauzy's joining the team.Team Menu also facing the same problem when Fauzy team-mate Will Davidson left the team. May be Fauzy had enough experience and he have the right to choose for the team future, which is more capable for his future.....
