But I'm sure you will have all the stats on that.
Earl Bamber did do a very solid job, but in a 888 car in dry conditions.

Richie performed so well in an unfavoured PRA car, in wet conditions, but recently comments might suggest the car flattered him in the wet?

stanaway has achieved more overseas than the rest of the field combined, SDS the somewhat ironic exception.

he's achieved rubbish results this year, no denying that, and his behaviour won't have helped him either. you'd be a brave man to toss away a driver of his calibre based on a poor rookie season in a lump of a car though. he might just end up in a red bull or a shell car in a couple of years with some serious laps under his belt if you do.

i mean you could always hire alex rullo for his dads money like the nissan spuds are determined to do.

I think at times we over inflate overseas achievements and under recognise local success.

And different classes can highlight driving strength or driving weakness.

I reckon there's a parallel here that people have missed.

Some drivers murder co-drivers because they drive a car in a mode nobody else can handle.

Scotty Mac is one of those freaks... And also somewhat Mark Winterbottom.

Could the PRA cars be built around Frosty's preferences so much that the setup window is super narrow?

The setup philosophy at Tickford has always been Frosty-centric. It's only been in the last couple of seasons with Mr De Borre doing the gingerbeering, that Mr Mostert has been able to head off in his own direction for setup.

no disagreements here, especially the bit about local success. a supercar is a tough drive, the most mental touring car there is and everyone in the category knows how to steer one.

Snip
Asked if being the first team really is an advantage, Dutton replied: “Definitely. It’s something that I understated to others and maybe didn’t value enough earlier.
“The one I used to always say that you get out [of pit exit] first for your sessions and all that.

Forgot to say and get to the front of the queue again when there is a red flag.

One can only hope they don't get let in again and can't get out until the whole field has gone past after a red.
The Fords always seem to be the worst for letting them in. I don't know how many times I threw things at the TV when FPR had the next garage and Frosty just let them in.

You have never watched the Red Bulls drive down pit lane inside the queue to their pit bay under red, do nothing, then push back and rejoin the queue jumping half the cars.

Depends if he gets a new car, or keeps the bitza currently run in Preston Hire colours.

And which tool company seems to be the new naming rights partner...
