I *think* I know the old (roughly 5 years ago) owner of this car. Someone lobbed on his doorstep and offered to buy it, name the price. He named a price (obscene money in his eyes) and a cheque was written on the spot.

Maybe they mean that Group A RS500s are a legendary car. I'd support that theory.

Hope the cheque was made from a good compound...not an exotic qually mix that won't last
