I thought that the first meeting was at the end of May and understood that two of the circuits might be used at that one.

So from http://bookatrack.com/-PG?jonny&3139&25553&640&.jpg the only two circuits that could be used at the same time are the National and Club...? Then for the BARC meeting end of March we'll be using the GP layout???

Not at the same time... the plan for the inaugural meeting was, I think, to run one layout each day of a two-day meeting.

No idea what layout you will be using in June!

You can't do that!
It has to be two one-day meetings!

I think you can - Lydden running the oval and full circuit; Rockingham running the oval and road courses, etc

Where's Diz when you need him??

Yeah! Mallory too!
What I'm pedantically getting at is qually & the race!
You qualify on one config - you have to race it!

I'm off now - closing door behind me! :-)

At this time of year?

He'll be sat in a shopping centre, dressed in red with kids on his knee, topping up his pension!

That was the Diz Master Plan to start with an ACC run meeting, but RP soon kyboshed that idea. So BRSCC NW will have that honour over the Whit weekend. Which circuit configuration I don't know, but as the whole thing is being built to a higher FIA grade than Oulton, whichever config is used will be mega.

If only?
Seriously though, I could do with a part time job to eke out my meagre pension, so if anybody has any admin type work I could do from home, give me a shout.

You can but I'd have thought they have to be run under separate permits and things.

I know for a fact that lydden is run under one permit by one club in the morning and another club and therefore permit in the afternoon!

What does that mean? (With my serious hat on) Does it really need to be of FIA grade (Or is that just the norm?) - I doubt the FIA would ever run a meeting there! (And that's not meant to sound "Off")

No! Whit weekend is what a young sprog like you will know as Late Spring bank holiday and falls ten days after Ascension Day (always a Thursday) which in turn is forty days after Easter.

Up until the Queen's Silver Jubilee Whit (Pentecost) was, like Easter, a moveable holiday and dependent on when Easter fell but always the gap as above.....................................

Graeme,
It will be a normal BRSCC NW meeting, with whatever championships and races they put in the timetable.

Ah - getting mixed up with first meeting at a "new" circuit and first meeting a club runs (is Anglesey a new circuit??) - you'd think there's more reasons for excluding the public from a new circuit than with new organisers...

That is a good point actually. First meeting at Rockingham had to be behind closed doors, so perhaps this one will be as well? Who knows...
