Not too much to report I am afraid on my Escort build. I did have a bit of luck when i was at Baldwins the other day a met a guy who raced on thev short oval in a MK1. Went and saw him Saturday and bought a pair of rear lights and two window lift frames from him.
Just need some spare time which seems to be non excistent at the moment.
Mrs Delta said I cannot work Christmas day. Selfish or what!!!

I'm sure Mrs Delta is very understanding

Mrs R is not too happy as I've arranged to drag the old PRS back from the barn storage to look at what needs doing to make it track worthy again. This means her car won't be in the garage overnight and it may need to be defrosted in the morning. But guess who defrosts the car......me!!!

My Caldwell D9 Formula Ford project is progressing fine. I have had the chassis cleaned and painted. The engine and gearbox is done, and now the chassis is just waiting the reunion with them. The bodyparts are off to the paintshop, and this indicate that Caldwell D9 from 1969 will be on the tracks again after many years of resting.

So you get to build your cars in the front room as well.

That was the only way I could line it up in the rear view mirrors, then get out and push it in the rest of the way.

Why did you push it in, Escort in first, back the Crapi in then drive the XK in, that way you can exit via the driver's door on each car.

No, it's a reflection combined with the stripes I put on it on Friday. It's a bog standard 2.8 Capri.

Sorry Tim, I dont think it is the 'X' pack but the upgraded injection version with the 5 speed gearbox,LSD and half leather seats. Goes very well, just got to take the heater out and replace the heater motor then everything is done, I hope.
