If he keeps his car wrecking ways about a week. If he doesnt win a race he might last the year. Whatever happens it is just so good that we dont have to put up with Mr Briggs driving anymore, lots of money and no talent is dangerous!

Sounds like the normal "sell your soul to the devil" deal!
It works like this: Briggs signs Canto for a 10 year deal. If Canto turns out to be a great find then Briggs can sell Canto to Ford or Holden for big bucks (or keep him under contract and earn a percentage of his earnings) or If he turns out to be a bit of a Romano he drops him like a bag of spuds and he can't drive anything for the rest of his contract (unless he buys his soul back!) It is a win win for Briggs and huge gamble for any young driver. |

You own him for 10 years, but you don't have to let him drive for 10 years!
After 1 year and you don't like him you drop him. (and he can't drive for anyone else) After 1 year and you love him, he is yours. (for another 9 years) After 1 year and HRT want him and he is a goldmine! |

If the Briggs cars are competitive you could see a reformed Rat, as unlikly as that sounds as Briggs cant build cars if his life depended on it, no matter how many bottomless wallets the git has.
As a holden fan I still hope the Rat finds something more worthwhile, fast! |

I say good luck to Paul Radisich & Briggs in 2003, That's if Paul joins Briggs.
I Believe Paul will be at the pointy end of the field in 2003. Betta cars showed both good qualifing speed as well as consistenty in 2002, Bring on the Rat in a Team Betta Barra |

Hiring Canto is a sponsorship goldmine for Briggs. He will now be able to go to Babyco and get them to sponsor him after all he has now had to buy booster seats 2 years running
